Tempo Storm has emerged the winners of the National PUBG League Preseason, and takes home $50,000 in prize money for their achievement.
Wildcard Gaming, Why Tempt Fate and Simplicity emerged 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively, with each team also earning a split of the $100,000 prize pool.
It was by no means an easy route to victory for Tempo Storm, as the NPL format is stacked with challenging matches.
At the start of the tournament, 32 teams were divided into four groups of eight, with each team playing a total of 12 matches. The Top 16 teams were then invited to the finals stage - a single-round affair with four matches for each team to tackle.
Points were awarded based on finishing positions and kills. Once the finals stage concluded, Tempo Storm had earned an impressive 1584 points in total - at least 300 more than the second place Wildcard Gaming who finished with 1276 points.
