Morning, looks like Handlock is back minus Genn. I've dropped a temporary deck list in here if you want to play the new version of it, and we'll be converting the guide completely once we have a more refined version.

Some of the comments in this thread might refer to Even Warlock / Genn, so thought it was worth making a note about the changes directly here!

@guitardude No version of Token / Treant Druid is part of the competitive meta at the moment but this is the version seeing most play. Consider this a warm-up for a better version of the archetype to come next week. I've mentioned this in the update at the top of the article.

The reason for the cards you've mentioned being in the article - yet not in the list - is explained in the intro to that same section ("as well as some cards that see play in variants from our deck:")

Token Druid is top of the list for a Rise of Shadows update and there'll be a proper overhaul of the guide then.

I've just put together an updated take on the tier list for the start of April. This will obviously be all up in the air once Rise of Shadows goes live but we'll follow our usual approach with the new expansion:

- Add a separate section above the tier list, with all the latest deck lists sorted by hero.
- Once the first week is behind us, start ranking those decks within individual hero categories.
- Towards the end of the month, we'll properly start folding everything in to an overall tier list.

We've been covering expansions this way now for a few years, but I would welcome any feedback on improving the process. It's going to be a bit crazy here for the next few weeks, so please bear with me as I get the new archetypes covered and the old ones updated. We'll get there!

@JamesJameson Yeah we missed the original announcement on this unfortunately. We decided to cover it anyway as the clock was ticking on wrapping them up and thought it would be helpful for anyone who hadn't got around to getting these done.

Apologies for the late update here. By all accounts it looks as though people are abandoning Hunter's Mark altogether in order to retain Prince Keleseth.

I'll keep an eye on the deck over the next week or so though, and make another change if I think it's necessary.

For now I've updated the deck list and also the combo advice to account for HM being lost.

Just a quick update about the recent five-card nerf.

I'm going to put together a quick list of the current top ten decks as per hsreplays and put it in the tier list as a temporary update.

It's only been a couple of days since the patch went live so this shouldn't be considered the final word. It'll give you some direction over the weekend though.

On Monday when a clearer picture of the new meta emerges I'll do a proper refresh of the whole list - again that'll keep changing over time.
