Ed's a huge fan of rushing B in CS:GO and grinding it out in Destiny 2. He will not rest until a new Wario Land is announced.

Two more teams have been confirmed for the inaugural season of the Overwatch League. The news was confirmed in separate blog posts on the tournament's official site, and sees the Houston Outlaws and London Spitfire teams added to the overall roster of twelve teams.

The London Spitfire team is owned by popular esports outfit Cloud9, and takes its inspiration from the iconic Spitfire plane flown by the Royal Air Force (RAF) during World War 2. The team colours are taken from Cloud9's blue branding, along with Tracer's orange touches. Fittingly enough, in the game's backstory Tracer was a member of the British RAF.

Next up are the Houston Outlaws. Taking its cowboy cues from the Texan city, it's no surprise to see gunslinger McCree take centre stage here in the team's official artwork. The green colouring is a nod towards the corporate branding of team owner OpTic Gaming, whose fans are informally known as the Green Wall.

The first competitive season of Overwatch League play will commence on January 10th 2018, and will conclude with a final showdown in July of the same year.

Before then though, you'll get the chance to watch all twelve teams take part in a series of exhibition matches on December 6th. We'll add more details of that day's events as soon as we have them.
