About James Law

James can usually be found wearing dungarees, playing Hearthstone, drinking coffee, or all of the above. For his sins, he has been cursed to forever main heavies in Smash.

The Overwatch Grand Finals are set to take place in Philadelphia on Saturday 29th September. If you can’t make it to the Wells Fargo Center, never fear - there’s some bonuses available if you watch it from home. The Grand Finals begin at 3pm EDT, the equivalent of 8pm in the UK.

Link your Twitch and Blizzard accounts and you’ll earn rewards for watching the San Francisco Shock face off against the Vancouver Titans for the $1.1 Million prize. We’ve listed these below, and the full post can be found on Blizzard’s site.

  • Watch for 1 hour: Tailgate. Mercy, Lucio, Mei and Soldier: 76 all hanging out having a picnic on the back of a pickup truck.
  • Watch for 2 hours: Grand Finals 2019 Player Icon.
  • Watch for 3 hours: Watching Ball. Tracer, Wrecking Ball and D.Va chilling on Hammond’s mech suit.

You’ll also be able to earn double League Token drops, wherein random viewers will be granted doubled-up tokens which can be used to purchase Overwatch League team skins in-game. This only applies to single token drops, but the 100-token end-of-game reward will still be active allowing a small portion of fans a bonus 100 if they’re watching at the end of a match.

Twitch must be connected to your Blizzard account to enable this, with full instructions here.
