If you found yourself feeling extremely frustrated by the last Overwatch seasonal event, and the inability to buy missing skins with your stash of Credits, the good news is that things have changed for Halloween. We've actually covered this in our Halloween guide already, but thought it was worth putting a quick PSA out quickly, as it's been a hot topic in the build-up to the latest event.
You can still grind out loot boxes if you wish, of course, and hope to get lucky from whatever spills out of them. If you're missing any as the end of the event approaches though, you can always dip into your stash and grab the ones you really, really want. You'll still receive credits for duplicate items as you open your boxes too, so hopefully you'll have enough left over after levelling up.
On that note, here's a quick tip that will help you maximise your loot box efficiency. If you can level up to a round rank number in the game (Level 100, 200, 300, 400 etc), the next twenty boxes you earn will require less XP in total - just like when you first levelled up in the game. We also recommend grinding out all the boxes you can from gameplay ahead of the event finish on 1st November, before making purchases from the store - you may just get everything you want without spending a penny!

All in all, we think this is great news, and Blizzard deserves a shout-out for listening to the community and making changes for the latest seasonal event. Hopefully it'll bring a lot of people back to the game as well.
