With the release of Overwatch comes final confirmation of the real money price you'll need to pay for Loot Boxes. If Lady Luck has been miserably unkind to you, rest assured that you can open up your wallet, flex your credit card and take a shortcut towards unlocking loads more cosmetic items.

Note that, as always, the contents of these boxes are randomised so you shouldn't feel too disappointed if you don't get exactly what you want. Thankfully you do receive Credits for any duplicate items in your collection, which you can then spend on specific items that you do want. Maybe wait until you've levelled a bit before splashing the cash?

Anyway, here's how much Loot Boxes cost, whether you're based in the US or the UK. We're having a bit of trouble working out EU prices right now, so let us know in the comments if you're in that zone and we'll update this article - thanks!

(Don't forget to take a look at our Overwatch levelling guide for a breakdown of how to earn all this stuff for free!)
