The next hero coming to Overwatch might have Greek origins, according to a little bit of internet sleuthing conducted by the community.
The discovery was made when a player noted that voice actor Alex Malaos had listed work on their online resume - since deleted - as a character in Overwatch called "Greek". It noted that the work had been directed by Jeffrey Kapplan [sic] and Aaron Keller for Blizzard Entertainment.
To add further fuel to the fire, just a couple of days ago Overwatch's game director Jeff Kaplan caused no small ripple in the community when he claimed: "24 is not who you think it is". This was in response to a request for information about the development pipeline of new heroes. There are currently 23 characters in the game.
This could mean that Doomfist, widely belived to be the next Overwatch hero, is either much further away from release than we thought, or is not coming to the game at all. It could also simply mean that Terry Crews - long-believed to be the voice of that hero - is lending his acting talents to a different character altogether.

Given the fact that the decidedly Mediterranean Ilios is missing a related hero, we're inclined to believe that this Greek character is indeed the next hero headed to Overwatch.
We will of course update this article as soon as we hear anything official from Blizzard.
