Blizzard World, the next map in development for Overwatch, will be released next Tuesday 23rd January. The news was confirmed by publisher Blizzard on the game's official Twitter account yesterday evening.

Blizzard World is a hybrid map, and represents Overwatch's take on the stereotypical Disney theme park, structured around the publisher's historical output. World of Warcraft, Diablo, Starcraft - they all got a nod in one form or another, and you can expect to see references galore for Blizzard games from years gone by.

If you didn't get a chance to play around with the new map on the PTR, you can get up to speed ahead of launch by reading our Blizzard World guide. We'll be updating that continuously throughout the launch window, and will add all of the new skins to the site as soon as they become available.
