Blizzard has released a new dedicated esports mobile app on both the iOS and Android app stores.
Once installed, you'll be able to track the latest official tournament content for Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, Overwatch, StarCraft 1 and 2, and World of Warcraft.
The only exception is for Overwatch League-specific content. This is not currently available on the platform, although the reasons for its exclusion have not been revealed by Blizzard. It's possible that licensing issues around the League franchising system make information-sharing trickier.
Once you've downloaded and installed the app onto your device, you'll be able to select the titles that you'd like to follow and receive official announcement for. You can also make use of push notifications, which will alert you when an official match goes live, allowing you to jump straight into a stream.
As for the action itself, much of it takes place at Blizzard's dedicated esports Arena in Burbank, Los Angeles. Here's a video that goes into a little detail about the production of these events:
Blizzard is keen to stress that this is just the first iteration of the software, and is actively seeking feedback from its community.
There are also plans to expand on the service in the coming months, and you can let the esports teams your thoughts on the app using a feedback system built right into the software.
