Our Brawl Stars Token guide explains how to get more Star Tokens and regular Tokens fast, and buy more Brawl Boxes and Big Boxes.

As you'd expect from a free to play game, there are no shortage of currencies to dip into if you want to enhance your experience of Brawl Stars.

Two of these important currencies are called Tokens and Star Tokens. By earning them, you'll be able to purchase Brawl Boxes and Big Boxes, which themselves are packed with goodies.

Why would you want to unlock Big Boxes rather than Brawl Boxes though? Well, as a general rule of thumb the former contain around three times as many rewards as the latter, and so are worth prioritising.

In this article, we explain how to get more regular Tokens and Star Tokens, so that you can unlock more Brawl Boxes and Big Boxes.

By the time you've finished reading it, you'll also have essential insight into how to spend them more efficiently as well.

When you're done here, make sure to check out our essential guide to getting more Gems and Coins in Brawl Stars - it'll help you earn them much more quickly!

How to get more Tokens in Brawl Stars

The simplest way to get more Tokens is to just play the game as much as possible. You'll always receive some of these rewards - even if you lose - but keep in mind that you'll gain many more for a win.

As you play the game, you'll also rank up your Brawlers and increase your general player level. These activities also reward you with Tokens.

Here's a breakdown of how you can earn Tokens by playing Brawl Stars naturally:

  • Win a Team Battle - 20 Tokens
  • Lose a Team Battle - 10 Tokens
  • Play Showdown - Max 34 Tokens
  • Rank up a Brawler - 10 Tokens
  • Level up player experience - 20 Tokens

There are a couple of other things to keep in mind when trying to amass a decent stash of regular Tokens.

  • Use your Tickets to enter a limited event called Robo Rumble. This event - played well - can reward you with hundreds of Tokens once you get good at it.
  • Use any Token Doublers when pursuing high Token reward activities. You'll acquire some from boxes (although it can be quite a rare drop), but you may have to pick some up from the store if you want to keep grinding this method. They cost 50 Gems each.

Once you've earned 100 Tokens, you'll be able to open up a Brawl Box and find out what goodies are waiting for you inside.

How to get more Star Tokens in Brawl Stars

There are two factors that determine how many Star Tokens you can earn, and they revolve around first of all playing the game a lot, and second of all getting good at the game.

You'll see what we mean in this breakdown of how you actually earn Star Tokens:

  • Win a 3 v 3 game
  • Be one of the Top 4 Brawlers in Solo Showdown
  • Be on one of the Top 2 Teams in Duo Showdown

To see if a current event has a Star Reward associated with it, make sure you view the options in-game. If you can earn a Star Token, there'll be a special Star icon on the event banner.

As these maps change and refresh throughout the day, you'll be able to unlock more Star Tokens by jumping into events that qualify for the rewards.

For that reason, the gameplay route to getting more Star Tokens is to play regularly, play well, and bag your rewards in as efficient a manner as possible.

Once you have a total of 10 Star Tokens, you'll be able to open up a Big Box.
