A new Pro View subscription service, allowing fans to follow League of Legends' esports scene in much finer detail, has been announced by Riot.

The new service will allow viewers to follow up to four synchronized LEC and LCS streams, and make use of a timeline feature that takes them straight to the pivotal action in each game.

You'll also be able to share a personalized timeline with your friends, so that they can watch exactly what you're watching. The Pro View functionality will be available during live games and catch-up.

Pro View will cost $14.99 for LCS devotees and €14.99 for LEC fans. This will cover the Summer Split window of competitive play, although note that Riot hasn't ruled out price increases for future events.

As for where that subscription money goes, Riot has pledged it will be split between regional leagues and teams. It's a way for the most dedicated followers of the game to directly support their competitive leagues, in other words.

For all of the nitty gritty detail on Pro View - and for details on how to sign up - head over to the official support page for the new service.
