The next Hearthstone Adventure may be themed around World of Warcraft's Molten Core raid instance, according to information datamined by Hearthpwn from a small patch recently made available on Blizzard's servers.

World of Warcraft's Blackrock Mountain is home to a number of raids and instances - including Molten Core - and it's the collection of special card backs tagged in this minor patch that make it a likely candidate for Hearthstone's second Adventure, following the release of the Naxxramas raid last summer.

The card data reads as follows:

  • Molten Core
  • Reward From: License Detected
  • Note: purchase brm presale
  • Ragnaros
  • Reward From: Ranked Season Play
  • Golden Celebration
  • Reward From: License Detected
  • Note: golden celebration cardback

As well as representing a powerful Legendary card in Hearthstone, Ragnaros is the final boss of Blackrock Mountain's most significant raid, Molten Core.

Expect to hear more at Blizzard's PAX East panel, due to take place at 15:30 GMT on Friday 6th March.
