This Hearthstone Wildfest page contains the start date and end date for the new Wild-flavoured celebration that's on its way to the game.

A number of mid-expansion events have been introduced to Hearthstone over the last couple of years, all of which are designed to counter the sort of fatigue that inevitably settles in the game once we've exhausted all the fun from an expansion's new cards.

Next up to add a little spice to the game is Wildfest, which - as you've probably guessed from the name - celebrates everything to do with the Wild side of the game. In this section you're free to make use of any card released from throughout Hearthstone's history, and the new event will also add Tavern Brawls and Arena tweaks when it goes live.

When are the start and end dates for Wildfest though? You'll find them both below, and we'll also add in start and finish times for you once the information has been released by Blizzard. We've also recapped the contents of Wildfest for you a little further down the page:

Hearthstone - Wildfest Start Date:

Wildfest will begin on Monday 19th February 2018. The precise start time has yet to be confirmed by Blizzard.

Hearthstone - Wildfest End Date:

Wildfest will end on Sunday 11th March 2018. Again, we are still waiting for an end time to be confirmed.

Here's a quick rundown of what to expect when Wildfest begins. Our full Wildfest guide contains even more detail on the event.

  • Arena - For the duration of Wildfest you'll be able to draft a deck using every card from the entire Hearthstone collection. Basically it's how Arena use to be before the Standard model was applied, and we can't wait to get stuck into the old version again!
  • Venture into the Wild - This new Tavern Brawl is essentially a quick entry point into the Wild ladder. Blizzard will cook up a collection of pre-made Wild decks, and you simply pick one and go toe to toe with another player. It's likely you'll receive the usual Classic card pack reward for winning your first match in this new Brawl.
  • The Wild Brawliseum - This is a bit like Arena, except you get to build a Wild deck of your choice, then lock it in for a run that can potentially go to 12 wins. The more wins you manage to rack up, the greater your rewards, and the reward system will be the same as in Arena. Just like that other game mode though, once you hit three losses your run will come to a close. The first Wild Brawliseum you take part in will be free, but subsequent ones will cost the same as an Arena entry ticket. Once the event goes live our Wild Brawliseum guide will be continuously updated with all the best decks you need.
