Hearthstone: Wild Brawliseum guide - Best decks, tips and tactics

Our guide in progress to the new mode that's about to hit Hearthstone.

A new event called Wildfest went live in Hearthstone around the middle of this month. It'll run until 11th March and as the name suggests it's built around the game's somewhat neglected Wild format.

As part of these celebrations, Blizzard has confirmed that a brand-new game mode will be added to the game called The Wild Brawliseum. As this is a new addition to the game, we thought it would be useful to put together a quick guide that explains everything we currently know about it.

In this article you'll find details of what to expect from the new mode, and some of the best Wild decks you can make use of during the event. As things play out we'll also be piling loads of tips and strategy advice into this article as well.

For now though, here's our complete FAQ for The Wild Brawliseum. When you done, make sure you check out our comprehensive Wildfest guide for the lowdown on all the other aspects of this special celebration!

What is The Wild Brawliseum?

This is one of two special Tavern Brawls that will be live for the duration of the Wildfest event (the other being a pretty standard Brawl where players compete using a pre-made Wild deck).

In The Wild Brawliseum, you'll be tasked with constructing a Wild Deck which you then commit to for the run in question. The challenge is to see how many wins you can achieve (up to a maximum of 12), although note that your run will end if you notch up a total of three losses.

What are the best decks to use in The Wild Brawliseum?

Over the last few days we've been busy pulling together some of the most popular decks being played in the Wild format right now. All of these decks are incredibly powerful, and we'll be adding in extra deck lists over the next few days (Giants Warlock in particular is incredibly strong and comes highly recommended if you have the cards).

Here are a couple of other really strong decks which we don't currently have up to date guides for. Give 'em a go and let us know how they work for you:

What's the entry fee for The Wild Brawliseum?

Blizzard has already confirmed that your first attempt at The Wild Brawliseum won't cost you a penny (in real money or in-game gold). Subsequent attempts will cost the same as a typical Arena entry ticket though. That's 150 Gold or your local currency cost.

What rewards are there for taking part in The Wild Brawliseum?

The reward structure for The Wild Brawliseum will be identical to that used in Arena. Our Arena rewards page has the lowdown on what you'll receive for the number of wins you manage to clock up.

What are the start and end dates for The Wild Brawliseum?

These are currently unknown, but we imagine that The Wild Brawliseum will run separately from the second Brawl, and will take place during one of the three weeks that Wildfest is actually active. As soon as we have any information from Blizzard on this front, we'll update this article.
