Our Rise of Shadows release time page contains launch details for the US, UK and European timezones, with times for other regions of the world as well.
A new Hearthstone expansion is almost upon us, and we know that Rise of Shadows will hit the live servers on Tuesday 9th April 2019 (that's tomorrow as we write this article).
Expect 135 new cards to be added to Hearthstone, along with some new card mechanics, and some familiar faces as the League of Evil prepares to do battle against the Defenders of Dalaran.
When does Rise of Shadows actually go live though? Well, Blizzard has become pretty consistent at nailing a simultaneous global launch for expansions over the last couple of years.
For that reason, we expect Rise of Shadows to launch at 10am PDT on April 9th. That's all well and good if you live on the west coast of the US, but how about the rest of the world?
To help you pinpoint exactly when you should be logging in to greedily unwrap all of your new expansion packs, we've put together a handy table containing global time zones.
|6:00pm GMT||10:00am PT||1:00am CST|
|7:00pm CET||11:00am MT||1:00am SGT|
|8:00pm MSK||12:00pm CT||2:00am KST|
|1:00pm ET||2:00am JST|
|2:00pm BRT||3:00am AEST|
If you're just getting up to speed on what to expect from Rise of Shadows, here's some of our core coverage:
- 1. Best Rise of Shadows Decks - Our continually evolving round-up of the best new - and old - decks seeing play in the new competitive meta.

UPDATE - Blizzard has official confirmed the release time for Rise of Shadows on Twitter:
We’re thrilled to announce that tomorrow’s release of #RiseOfShadows will be our first simultaneous global launch! Americas: 09 April 10:00 PDT Europe: 09 April 17:00 GMT Asia: 10 April 02:00 KS / 01:00 CST China: 10 April 01:00 CSThttps://t.co/HpajFbb8O4 pic.twitter.com/6RzzUUzAriHearthstone (@PlayHearthstone) 8 April 2019
As we mentioned at the start of this article, these times are based on those of previous expansions, and it's not impossible that Blizzard could change their launch plans this time around.
It's also not been unknown for technical issues to hold up the release, but we'll drop a note in here if we get any official updates from Blizzard on that front.
If you're more interested in the single player side of Hearthstone, the news is less good. Don't expect to see the latest adventure hit the game until around a month after the launch of the card set.
When it does arrive though, you can look forward to tucking into a massively expanded single player mode, with a full story that will play out across all three of Hearthstone's 2019 expansions.
