About John Bedford

John is Metabomb's Editor in Chief, and is responsible for all of the Hearthstone news, features and guides content on the site.

For those of us who have been playing Hearthstone for a very long time - growing a tasty card collection and saving up plenty of Gold for card packs in the process - it can be very easy to forget how tricky it is for casual or new players to ease into a new metagame. For that reason, we thought it would be useful to put together a quick overview of the best budget Gadgetzan decks you can take to the ladder right now.

We've had a good dig around the community to find a handful of options that you might want to start experimenting with - some crafted by regular players like you and I, others by the pros who really know their onions. Although its early days for the expansion (and more budget options will emerge over time), we hope this collection will help you get more out of the game in these very early days.

The decks below should all give you a taste of the new expansion on a budget, but the new Gadgetzan cards haven't made the old metagame irrelevant by any means. You can still do perfectly well with some of the older established decks, but you should certainly familiarise yourself with all of the new deck archetypes you're likely to face. The better you understand them, the more likely you are to beat them, after all!

@Klck respectfully disagree, there's so little synergy for him in jade druid I'd honestly rather black paw if people are debating which is more necessary. His inclusion would get the jade idol/raven idol triggers but unless he survives multiple turns I don't know he's really worth it if you're incredibly short on dust or collection. Seriously though mid/agro shaman is still good and with as few epics and no legendaries in most lists I've seen I'd rather run it than these budget decks, though you won't get that nice gadgetzan flavor

No reason to play druid without Fandral, even budget one, it wont work.
