Boss Battle Royale strategy guide

Everything you need to know about the latest Tavern Brawl.

A new Tavern Brawl hit the servers late last night, and we reckon it's actually one of the best we've ever seen in the Hearthstone. Very simply, this week you'll step into the shoes of a specific boss from an Adventure gone by, and the boss you get is determined by the Hero you pick.

What that really means is tonnes of replayability, and this might be one of the few Brawls where we go back for more after bagging our free card pack. We've never seen these characters interact after all, and while it can feel like a rather random affair, it's an awful lot of fun.

It's hard to recommend a particular hero to pick this week, as you've no way of knowing which of the others you'll face. We'll make the point, however, that we got our free pack on the first attempt by rolling Warrior - you need a little luck on your side, but a strong Turn 1 use of the hero power can determine the fate of the game there and then.

Don't forget to let us know how you're getting on with this week's Brawl in the comments section, especially if you've any tips for hero picks that you want to share.

First of all, here's a look at which boss you'll encounter if you choose a specific class. We've also outlined their special hero power, so you have some idea of what you're going to have at your disposal.

The actual deck you'll be armed with is predetermined for each of the bosses, but we don't have a breakdown of what each of those are. If you we manage to track them down, we'll include them here so you can plan ahead a little.
