The latest Hearthstone event has hit - Doom in the Tomb. Along with dual-class arenas and brand new Tavern Brawls, the 23 cards coming back into Standard format from Wild have been confirmed.
Each of the cards listed below are going to be legal to play in Standard format until the game’s next major update - this means you’ll be able to play them after the conclusion of the Doom in the Tomb event. We’ll get our Deck Tier List and guides updated once this brand new meta starts settling! These cards will be playable from the 8th of October 2019, and will remain in Standard until the game’s next major update. All players will receive a free copy of the cards for the duration of their time in Standard, although these versions of the cards can not be disenchanted. As well as the addition of these meta-shifting cards, Hearthstone’s team have put in place all manner of new stuff for people to enjoy during this event. Three weeks of Doom in the Tomb means three brand new Tavern Brawls with bonus rewards. Here’s what’s in store. It’ll be a similar situation to the Fire Fest-E.V.I.L. for these Tavern Brawls. A dungeon run-style event where you play as a member of the League of E.V.I.L., rewards are available for completing the event as quickly as possible, with a Rastakhan’s Rumble pack available for finishing in under an hour, and a golden copy of Ancient Mysteries for finishing under 40 minutes. Now it’s the League of Explorers’ turn to dive into the Haunted Temple, with new rewards available for speedrunning it. Completion in under an hour nets you a golden Temple Berserker, and a 40-minute run will earn a golden copy of the notoriously unplayable Generous Mummy. In this one, you’ll have to battle under unique conditions - a whole bunch of Dreadsteeds and a constantly-rotating battlefield. The reward for beating this one is a Rise of Shadows pack. Hallow’s End is here, so we’re getting dual-class arena back. You’ll be able to pick a Hero, a Hero Power, and then draft cards from both classes, offering unique and exciting synergies. The first two weeks of the Doom in the Tomb event will offer players a free Arena ticket too, so make sure you log in to claim these free runs! Since it’s a big update, we’re going to see the available expansions in the Arena change. Here’s what we’ll see in the Arena mode for the next few months. The final little addition for Doom in the Tomb is card pack deals. The Hex and Flex bundles will cost US$19.99 and offer 20 packs and a random Legendary card. The Hex bundle draws from the Rise of Shadows expansion, whilst the Flex bundle is from Saviors of Uldum. Also, login rewards are available during the event. Players who log in between October 8th and 30th will receive 2 Saviors of Uldum packs, 2 Rise of Shadows packs and 1 Rastakhan’s Rumble pack.Which cards have come back into Standard?
