Now this is a bit of a weird one. The latest Tavern Brawl to hit Hearthstone seems like it might have been intended to kick the whole expansion off, rather than close it.
It tasks you with picking a Hero that has a pre-made deck assigned to it, one that's heavily focused around the deck archetypes that have come to dominate the Old Gods metagame. It's a bit like the ladder you're probably a bit bored with right now, basically.
Perhaps at the start of the expansion the Brawl was struck by the kind of bug that's caused others to be replaced at the last minute, perhaps this is all by design in order to bid farewell to the expansion.
Who knows? Regardless of the reason, we've got a few pointers to help you navigate the challenge and bag your free card pack nice and quickly.

Tips and strategy advice
- The decks provided to you in A Dark Recipe are – as the name suggests – based on the Deck Recipe system introduced just prior to the release of Whispers of the Old Gods.
- If you want a sneak peak at which deck you'll be piloting per class, simply check out the third Deck Recipe provided for each Hero when you create a New Deck in My Collection.
- If you've no experience of either of the decks featured in our recommendation below, simply choose the one you've had the most experience and success with over the last few months!

Deck lists and best class
We recommend taking either Warrior or Rogue into battle this week. The Rogue takes a little more skill and experience to pilot to victory, but you'll find the C'Thun Warrior almost as powerful - and an absolute breeze to play by comparison.
