Sometimes on Metabomb we like to highlight amazing Hearthstone plays that showcase incredible tactical insight and preparation. Most of the time though we're suckers for a bit of RNG schadenfreude - just like everyone else.
As an example of the latter, here's streamer DisguisedToast on the brink of enjoying a huge Yogg-Saron, Hope's End play that might just keep him in the game. For those unfamiliar with the card, Yogg will cast a random spell from across Hearthstone's card collection for each spell cast by the player earlier on in the match.
Having cast 60 spells throughout the entirety of the epic Quest Exodia Mage match, Toast gets ready to enjoy the fruits of his labours:
Only, it doesn't quite work out like that.
Of all the cards, and all of the targets that could have been chosen, Yogg instead drops a two-damage Lava Shock straight into Toast's one-health pool on the second cast.
