Fortnite patch V9.10 has introduced a brand new way to hoover up even more loot via Hot Spots.

At the start of every match, randomly selected locations will now have a higher loot rate as well as an increase in Supply Drops.

On top of this new addition, there’s the usual host of LTMs, bug fixes and the like.

At the start of every match, select named locations will now be marked in gold text on the map. These Hot Spots signal the presence of Loot Carriers, little drones which you can shoot down for a chance at bagging some powerful weaponry.

There’s no doubt that any location marked as a Hot Spot will be rammed with players all competing for loot, and it’ll be interesting to see if it can bring some life to less popular areas of the map.

The new patch also brings back three Limited Time Modes: Sniper Shootout Duos, Unvaulted Squads and Close Encounters Squads, so there's a little something for everyone.

Elsewhere, the Shadow Bomb has been toned down a bit, the Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle has been unvaulted and the Combat Shotgun won’t be quite as abundant across the map.

For a complete overview of absolutely all the changes, bug fixes and all, make sure you head on over to Epic’s official blog post.
