The V6.02 patch notes for Fortnite have been released, confirming that a new Limited Time Mode is on its way to the game, along with the new Quad Rocket Launcher that was teased earlier this week.
Titled Disco Domination, the new event sees players racing to one of five dance floors that appear on the map while the storm is not moving. If you can pull off a dance emote on these spots then you'll gradually capture the “point”. As floors are captured, teams increase their dance bar, and the first to reach 100% wins the match.
As for the Quad Launcher, this is a meaty rocket launcher that rapidly fires up to four rockets one after the other. It's available as either an Epic or Legendary item, dealing 80 or 84 damage respectively. It has a 300 unit explosion radius and can be found in chests, Supply Drops and Vending Machines.
The Port-a-Fortress has also returned to Fortnite, albeit with an availability rate of 1.83% - down from 2.43% when it first made its debut at the end of September. Drop rates for other weapons have also been increased or decreased - check out the full patch notes for the precise details.
Epic has not yet provided a precise release time for Patch 6.02, but they're typically applied between 11:00am and 12:00pm UK time on the day they're published.
