Fortnite’s latest patch has brought with it a brand new Infantry Rifle and an Air Royale Limited Time Mode (LTM). The Food Fight LTM has also returned too, alongside the Egg Launcher which arrives just in time for the Easter Break. Of course, there’s a whole host of bug fixes and quality of life improvements too.
Epic Games has added another rifle to Fortnite’s enormous arsenal. The Infantry Rifle is a “precise, semi-automatic weapon” which thrives in mid to long range fights but struggles to deliver results in close combat.

Moving onto the Air Royale LTM and, as the name suggests, players will take to the skies in an airplane-only, duo-exclusive affair to see who can emerge the last plane flying.
As the action takes place in the sky, Air Royale introduces a load of new airborne mechanics. For example, instead of the Storm encroaching from the side of the map, it’ll gradually descend from the skies. Each duo has three “plane lives” which they can add to by hijacking enemy planes, and Loot Chests fall from the skies too.
Elsewhere the Food Fight LTM has returned, which sees players attack and defend restaurants on the map. The Egg Launcher reskin for Grenade Launcher has also made a comeback for Easter, which suggests there could be some more Spring content on the way soon.
