Our Fortnite Week 8 Challenges guide contains a list of all the challenges available this week, as well as a number of tips, tricks and strategy advice to help you complete them easily.

We’re into week 8 of Fortnite Season 6 and there’s a new set of weekly challenges to complete.

For this week’s selection, there’s a lot to get through. You’ll need to dance with different fish trophies, visit various locations in a single match, earn kills with specific weapons and a lot more besides. It’s well worth cracking on with these tasks though, as you’ll earn Battle Stars which’ll go nicely towards levelling up your Battle Pass. We’re late into the season now as well, so even more reason to get them out of the way.

Below we’ve outlined all of the free and premium weekly challenges, along with a few tips to help you get them done and dusted with minimal effort.

Those are all of the challenges available in Week 8 of Fortnite Season 6, then, but how do you complete them all? Good question, and in the rest of this article we'll go through each task one by one.

Dance with a fish trophy at different Named Locations

To complete this challenge you need to track down 7 different fish trophies across Fortnite’s map and dance in front of them.

We’ve put together a Trophy Fish locations guide which you should definitely have a look at if you want to get this challenge done nice and quickly.

Visit Lonely Lodge and Retail Row in a single match (Stage 1)

To complete stage 1 of this challenge you’ll need to visit both Lonely Lodge and Retail Row in a single match. We’d recommend landing at one of these locations quickly, forgetting about loot, and sprinting to the other location from the get-go.

Six Shooter or Heavy Assault Rifle Eliminations

To get this underway, you’ll need luck on your side. First it’s a case of finding either of these weapons, so your best bet is to crack open as many chests as possible.

Once you’ve got hold of either of these weapons, chuck it into your primary slot and treat it as your main shooter. Engage in as many fights as possible and remember to be patient when firing both of these weapons as they each have quite a kick.

All in all, we’d recommend tackling this challenge with the Heavy Assault Rifle as you can spray down enemies from mid to short range in a matter of seconds.

Get Trick points in a vehicle

For this challenge, you’ll need to hop into either a Quad Crasher or ATK and perform as many jumps as possible. That’s all there is to it really - acquire vehicle, fly off ramps and earn points.

Get a score of 3 different Clay Pigeons

You’ll need to search for different clay pigeon locations around the map and shoot 3 clays in total.

Our Clay Pigeon locations guide has you covered on this front!

Visit different Named Locations in a match

This one’s simple, but also difficult at the same time.

A named location is a main location on the map which has a name, for example, Tilted Towers or Greasy Grove.

To get this out of the way, we’d recommend landing at a location like Wailing Woods or Lucky Landing which are both less likely to attract enemies. As soon as you touch ground, leg it out of the area and move clockwise around the map, piling through as many named locations as possible. Forget about engaging enemies and focus on covering ground to get this ticked off.

Use a Grappling Hook

As the name suggests, you’ll need to get hold of a Grappler gun to complete this challenge. You can find them in chests, floor loot and off the corpses of other players too.

Once you’ve found one, simply use it and that’s the challenge done - nice.
