Our Fortnite: Week 6 Challenges guide details all of the new Season 4 Challenges, which features spraying over different Carbide or Omega Posters and searching between a Playground, Campsite and a Footprint.
Another week of Fortnite: Battle Royale, another set of Weekly Challenges to tackle and earn some rewards from. It’s become quite something, as players will burst into the game’s servers the moment they come back online, just so they can crack on and increase their level.
If you’re unfamiliar with Fortnite’s Weekly Challenge system, it’s pretty straightforward and very simple to get stuck into. Each week you’ll have a total of seven tasks to complete, all of which will vary in difficulty, with some requiring some serious effort to tick off.
Logging in and completing your Weekly Challenges is well worth the effort, as they’ll each reward you with Battle Stars that’ll go towards levelling up your Battle Pass. This means more unique cosmetics like Backblings, Gliders an Outfits being added straight into your locker!
As we’ve touched on above, it’s almost always a couple of challenges that’ll prove to be a lot tougher than the rest. You’ll often have to rely on map knowledge to seek out buried Battle Stars, or scour the map for items hidden away in some locations you’ve never laid eyes on before. To help you get them out of the way with minimal fuss, we’ve put together a guide that’ll take you through every Week 6 Challenge and provide some advice on how to beat them as quickly as possible.
Make sure you check out our Weekly Challenges list page for additional help with challenges from all previous weeks!

Search Supply Drops
This challenge is surprisingly tricky, and this is simply down to the fact that you’re only able to search Supply Drops if you spot one falling from the sky - it’s entirely dependent on whether you spot any.
With this in mind, it’s unlikely you’ll finish this challenge quickly. To increase your chances of finding Supply Drops though, we’d recommend travelling as much as you can around the map and avoid staying in one place for too long. What’s more, Supply Crates tend to spawn quite frequently if you manage to reach the final circle, plus you’ll spot them easily in such a confined space.
When you spot one out in the distance, it’s worth marking it by firing a shot at it. This way you’ll see it’s health bar as it descends so you won’t lose track of wherever it drops.
Finally, it’s worth rushing the Supply Drops down as soon as you spot one. As long as you crack it open before anyone else, it’ll count towards the challenge. Build defensive structures around it if need be, and don’t worry too much if you go down! Simply head into another match and go hunting for another!
Deal damage with Shotguns to opponents
To get this challenge done and dusted quickly, we’d recommend hunting for a Shotgun in each and every match you’re involved in. Once you’ve got hold of one, use it exclusively as your main weapon. Look to get in close range fights to take advantage of a weapon that’ll thrive when getting up in an opponent’s grill.
Remember, you don’t need to secure kills to complete this challenge. Focus on dealing damage and you’ll get it out of the way eventually!
Search chests in Loot Lake
For this challenge your best betis to dedicate a number of matches to landing here. As soon as you’ve hit the ground running, start scouring the area for any glowing chests and begin cracking them open.
Forget your own personal safety and focus all your efforts on getting chests opened. Also, make sure you play these matches out as your will go to waste otherwise!
Spray over different Carbide or Omega Posters
To complete this challenge you’ll need to hunt down seven Carbide and Omega posters across the map and Spray over them. Make sure you head on over to our All Carbide and Omega Poster locations page as it contains a list of all their locations so you can hunt them down with ease.

Search between a Playground, Campsite, and a Footprint
Fortnite’s got another tricky challenge for us this week, as you’ll need to search between three specific locations around the map in order to unearth a bunch of Battle Stars.
Thankfully Youtuber Gatto already has us covered with a video that showcases the treasure's location.
If you found the video helpful, do make sure to give the video a thumbs up and consider subscribing! If you’re in need a text version, our Fortnite: Playground, Campsite and Footprint location guide as it contains a full walkthrough along with some helpful screenshots.
To get this challenge ticked off, we’d recommend employing similar tactics to the Shotgun task. Root around for an SMG and use it almost exclusively as your primary weapon until you wrack up three eliminations in total.
SMGs are strong in close quarters combat, so we’d recommend dropping in hotly contested locations like Tilted Towers. This way you’re likely to have a lot of fights and increase your chances of taking out enough players to complete the challenge.
Playing with friends in squads or duos will mean enemies with zero health go into a down-but-not-out state. If you manage to down an enemy, you can “share” the kill and finish them off with a few rounds from your SMG.
Eliminate opponents in Retail Row
Finally, to get this challenge out of the way, your best bet is to glide into Retail Row from the moment you join the match. Search for a weapon and some gear as soon as you’ve touched ground and get on the offense right away. Chances are you’ll catch some players off guard before they’ve even had a chance to collect some loot themselves.
Repeat this process over the course of a few match and it won’t be long before you get this challenge done!
