Our Fortnite Week 4 Challenges guide contains a list of all the challenges in Week 4 of Season 5, with tips, tricks and strategy advice for completing each one and earning your Battle Star rewards.

We’re nearly halfway into Fortnite’s fifth Season and there’s no let up on the challenge front. Epic’s still tasking players with tricky missions that’ll reward you with Battle Stars upon completion.

It’s well worth going after these tasks too as these Battle Stars go towards levelling up your Battle Pass, which in turn, will unlock unique cosmetic items you can show off to all your mates.

Week 4’s Free Challenges task players with building structures, eliminating opponents in Dusty Divot and even jumping through flaming hoops with a Shopping Cart or ATK.

To complete Week 4’s Premium Battle Pass offerings, you’ll need to deal damage with Sniper Rifles to opponents, search for chests in Flush Factory, find the hidden Battle Star between three unique locations and eliminate enemies using only Pistol. Got all that? Phew, there’s a lot to crack on with.

Below we’ve done our best to take the stress out of challenge completion, so you can claim your rewards quickly and get back to earning those Victory Royales.

Those are all of the challenges available in Week 4 of Fortnite Season 5, then, but how do you complete them all? Good question, and in the rest of this article we'll go through each task one by one.

Build Structures

This one’s plain and simple - you’ll need to build 250 of anything at all. We’d recommend dedicating a few matches to purely harvesting materials with your pickaxe, instead of focusing on earning eliminations.

Focus all your attention on hacking down trees, rocks, buildings - anything. Once you’ve got yourself a huge supply, lay down ramps and platforms as you’re running along. Build a huge fort if you want. So long as you’re building something constantly, this challenge will be done in absolutely no time at all.

Jump through Flaming Hoops with a Shopping Cart or ATK

As the title of this challenge suggests, a number of flaming hoops will appear across Fortnite's map when the update goes live. To complete it and claim your rewards, you'll need jump through them with a Shopping Cart or All Terrain Kart.

The challenge not only lies in locating these flaming hoops then, it's also making sure that you're getting the jump right when flying through the air with your vehicle of choice. This'll undoubtedly be easier to complete with friends as you can protect eachother from enemies as you line up the jump.

We're in the process of updating a page complete with All Flaming Hoop Locations so make sure you click the link to find out where they all are!

Eliminate opponents in Dusty Divot

There’s not much else for it but to spend a few games exclusively landing in Dusty Divot from the get-go and focusing on gearing up quickly.

Scramble around for a weapon as soon as you hit the floor and try nab some kills before anyone else has the chance to find loot. Otherwise, if the circle happens to close in on Dusty Divot in the late game, make a beeline for it and see if you can get involved in a fight.

Be aggressive in this specific location and you’ll eventually get the job done.

Deal damage with Sniper Rifles to opponents

First things first, you’ll need to get hold of a Sniper Rifle. This is largely down to how much you loot or if you happen to eliminate a player wielding one. So, focus on cracking open as many chests as you can to increase your chances.

Next, remember that Sniper Rifles are almost exclusively a long range weapon. You’ll need to take into account bullet travel time as well, so aim carefully when you’ve got a juicy headshot lined up.

Deal damage with Sniper Rifles to opponents

Next, remember that Sniper Rifles are almost exclusively a long range weapon. You’ll need to take into account bullet travel time as well, so aim carefully when you’ve got a juicy headshot lined up.

Again, your strategy should be similar to the Dusty Divot challenge this week. Land as fast as you can and start sprinting over to as many glowing chests as you can find.

Remember not to leave the game prematurely once you think that the area is exhausted of chests as it’ll delete your challenge progress. Instead, either carry on with the other challenges on this list, or close out the game naturally to save all those chests you looted.

Search between a Gas Station, Soccer Pitch, and Stunt Mountain

If you’ve ever taken on Fortnite’s weekly challenges before, you’ll recognise this classic. You’ll need to search between these three unique locations on the map for a hidden Battle Star - not easy eh?

We’ve put together a dedicated Search between a Gas Station, Soccer Pitch, and Stunt Mountain page which will help you find the Battle Stars easily.

Pistol Eliminations

To get this final challenge completed, get hold of any pistol and immediately start using it as your primary weapon.

The Suppressed Pistol has a fantastic firerate so it’s actually quite strong if you’re facing an enemy up close. We definitely wouldn’t recommend rattling off shots at a target from afar, so adapt your playstyle to fight enemies in close quarters as much as possible!
