Our Fortnite: Week 3 Challenges guide details all of the new Season 4 Challenges, featuring Rubber Duckies and following the treasure map found in Salty Springs.

Fortnite’s Season 4 is marches on, and as with every weekly reset there’s a brand new set of challenges to sink your teeth into.

If you’re unfamiliar with the usual Weekly Challenge setup, it’s pretty easy to follow. Essentially you’ll have seven tasks to complete, and in return you’ll receive some Battle Stars that’ll go towards levelling up your Battle Pass. You’ll be scouring the map for clues, looking for hidden treasure and eliminating other players with specific weapons to tick them all off.

Many of these challenges can be pretty tricky, especially as you’ll have to adapt your playstyle or largely rely on luck if your map knowledge isn’t quite up to scratch. We’ve put together a guide that’ll take you beat them all as quickly as possible.

Some of the tougher tasks have their own detailed guides, so just click through if you need more help with the tougher ones. Don’t forget either that we have a comprehensive Season 4 guide and all the help you need with the Week 1, and Week 2 challenges as well.

Editor's UPDATE #1: We've updated this page with an all inclusive Week 3 Challenges cheat sheet which is a great visual resource for those struggling with some of this week's tasks. What's more, we've also included a link to our All Rubber Duckies Locations guide in the relevant section. It's now got 19 Rubber Ducky locations to help you tick this challenge off!

Editor's UPDATE #2 Since Patch V.4.2's deployment, the "Watch a Replay" challenge has been replaced with "Revive Players". We've made the changes down below to reflect this!

Fortnite: Week 3 Challenges (Season 4)

Before we get down to business, here’s an overview of all the challenges you’ll have to complete. Simply click the links to jump straight to the one you’re most interested in right now.

These are all of Week 3’s Challenges in Fortnite, then. Just below we’ve put together a comprehensive list of tips and tricks for getting each one finished without too much hassle.

Week 3 Challenges Cheat Sheet

As per usual, Redditor thesquatingdog has put together an extremely useful map which shows where you'll find 19 Rubber Duckies, the bundle of Battle Stars for the Treasure, where you'll need to search for chests, and which location to bag eliminations in. Look at the banner surrounding the map itself and you'll notice all the challenges are listed too - another nice detail.

Take a look below.

Of course, huge thanks goes to squatingdog for this resource!

Revive Players

This one’s incredibly simple and only requires that you revive 5 players over the course of however many matches.

You'll progress through this challenge over time, so there's no need to rush it. If you're in a hurry though, it's best to play with a friend and have them deliberately damage themselves to enter a down-but-not-out state. Simply revive them a few times to achieve challenge completion.

Deal damage with Pistols to opponents

To get this challenge out of the way, you’re going to have to find a Pistol and make use of it. We’d recommend looting as much as possible so you can nab one as early as possible in a match, before using it as your primary weapon.

Do this and you’ll naturally wrack up Pistol damage on enemies throughout your matches. It won’t be long before it’s complete.

Search chests in Lonely Lodge

There’s nothing for it but to focus all your efforts on landing at Lonely Lodge, match after match. Land here as soon as you can when the match begins, start sprinting around the area and seek out those all-important chests.

Forget about the opposition here and scurry about searching for chests instead. If you get killed, don’t worry. Just keep repeating the process until you’ve got this challenge done and dusted.

Search Rubber Duckies

This challenge is especially difficult as it’s largely reliant on luck to discover all Rubber Duckies around Fortnite’s map.

Thankfully the community's done a stellar job of scouring the map and finding them in some very sneaky hiding spots. We've put together a comprehensive guide to grabbing 19 Rubber Duckies, which is more than enough to complete this Week 3 Challenge, so make sure you head on over to our All Rubber Duckies Locations guide to this task ticked off.

Follow the treasure map found in Salty Springs

Fortnite’s followed the previous challenge up with another that - could’ve - been equally as frustrating. Thankfully nittq has us covered one again though, with a video that showcases exactly where the treasure is located. You can watch it below.

If you found it helpful, do make sure to give the video a thumbs up and consider subscribing! If you’re in need of a text version, make sure you read through our separate Salty Springs Treasure Map Location page.

Sniper Rifle Eliminations

Operating similarly to the Pistol damage challenge, this one requires that you bag two with a Sniper. Channel your energy into finding a Sniper Rifle, but this may be something that you’ll stumble across naturally anyway.

Once you’ve got your hands on one, focus on using it during a fight - ideally in a long range battle for maximum efficiency. Of course, if you’re really struggling you could try queueing up with friends. Whenever you reduce someone’s health to zero in a squads or duos game, they’ll - more often than not - go into a down-but-not-out state. If you manage to down an enemy, you can “share” the kill and finish them off with a Sniper shot. This’ll keep things nice and simple, and only requires that you have a Sniper in your arsenal.

Eliminate opponents in Tilted Towers

To get this final challenge complete, your best bet is to land in Tilted Towers from the off. Search for a weapon once you’ve landed and get on the offensive right away. Chances are you’ll catch some players off guard before they’ve even had a chance to gear up themselves.

Repeat this process over the course of a few matches and it won’t be long before this challenge is done!
