Activision has revealed the brand new Destiny 2 launch trailer at this year’s Gamescom event.
You can watch the trailer below.
We’re mightily impressed by the quality of Destiny 2’s cutscenes and the new look really does seem to signify a step up from the original game. Note only that but the game's shaping up to have a far superior story to the first game's rather limited narrative reach.
Those on console will be able to pre-load Destiny 2 so they can jump right into the action on launch day. Pre-loading for Xbox One users starts today (22nd August), and 31st August for those on Playstation 4. If you’re unsure how to go about pre-loading the game, make sure you check out our Pre-load guide for a handy step by step breakdown of the process.
Destiny 2’s console launch is around two weeks away, hitting shelves on 6th September for Xbox One and Playstation 4. Those on PC will have to wait until 24th October before they can get their hands on the game.
There is, however, the Destiny 2 PC beta coming up next week, starting on 28th August for those who’ve pre-ordered. It then opens up to everyone else on the 29th August, and runs until 31st August.
