The Destiny 2 preload date for those who preordered the game on PS4 has been confirmed as September 3rd 2017. That's three days before the game's official launch on September 6th.

According to the smallprint on publisher Bungie's website, it's going to take up a whopping 68gb of installation disk space. This extended three day window gives PS4 players ample time to download the game ahead of release, and jump straight into the action when the game officially launches.

Xbox One and PC preload dates have yet to announced and we’ll be sure to update the site when this information comes to light.

If you've preordered the game, it's worth checking out our Beta guide for all the details on what you can expect when the beta launches in less than a month.
