How to find the entrance to the Terminus East Sector located in the European Dead Zone (EDZ) region of Destiny 2, clear the encounter and take home your loot.

If you've not come across one yet during your time in Destiny 2, Lost Sectors are super bite-sized chunks of content that act essentially like little loot caves. Close to each entrance point is a little Lost Sector symbol which you'll soon come to recognise, but finding the precise location is not always immediately obvious.

That's where our series of Lost Sector guides comes in. We've highlighted a very handy video which will help you both find and finish off the Terminus East bonus area with the minimum of fuss, and ensure you leave with your loot in one piece. If you find the video useful, give it a thumbs-up and keep your fingers crossed that the creator makes more!

If you'd rather just have a quick text teardown of what's involved in Terminus East, look just below the video itself, where you'll find a very brief overview of what's what.

(If you want to be the best at every area of the game, don't forget to bookmark our PVP, Strike and Subclass guide pages - they've got everything you need if you want to get more out of Destiny 2, and will be continuously updated in the weeks ahead.)

  • Check the map highlighted at the start of the video, then bear left at the Lost Sector sign.
  • Go inside, then drop down and start making your way through the cavern system down here. It's a pretty steep drop, but you should be able to “tap” a few ledges as you fall down, and you can always float a little before hitting the floor.
  • After passing through a few tiled tunnels you'll encounter your very first enemies. You've got lots of pillars, benches and boxes around here for cover, so don't be afraid to duck out of the action for a moment if it all gets a bit too hot to handle.
  • You'll have to kill the boss before you can loot it, but if you're having any trouble finding the loot chest, activate your Ghost for an objective marker.
