Destiny 2: Postmodern Prometheus walkthrough guide (Adventure)

Here's how to get through this mission unscathed.

Ikora’s reluctantly allowing Asher to explore a plan where he’s converting the Traveler’s energy into a form of synthetic Light. It’s something that you’ll have to take part in, even if Ikora thinks that nothing will come of it.

Out of all the Adventures in the game, this one’s definitely the simplest - in theory. You’re essentially holding off enemies throughout and it’s quite the bloodbath.

Collect the Traveler’s energy, Calibrate Asher’s test equipment and Travel to the test site

When you start, hop on your Sparrow and roam around the area looking for pillars of light. Simply ride over enough to fill your radiation level to 5. Once you’re done it’s time to look for 8 Vex to melee.

Again, roam around and find a group of Vex. Wander up to them and smack 8 of them silly. Try to avoid going too aggressive as it's quite easy to get overwhelmed. Remember there's only one of you and many of them!

Follow the new marker all the way over to Terrabase Charon. It’s here that you’ll begin facing off against waves of enemies.

Protect the experiment, defeat the Taken and defeat the Vex

Interact with little monitor to start the process and equip an automatic weapon of some kind. We recommend staying on the move and headshotting or meleeing any enemies that get close.

Once the Taken Blights start phasing in, this is when things get a little tricky. Thankfully the arena opens up so you’ve got space to maneuver. Make use of this space and begin circling around the area, prioritising the Blights and keeping your distance from Vex Minotaurs and Cyclops’.

When it really ramps up and it begins to get a little chaotic - it’s time to pop your Super. Don’t be afraid to use your power weapon on the tankier enemies as you’ll get this ammo back.

Honestly, there's not too much else to it. Stay on the move and take cover when you're coming under fire. Otherwise, prioritise the tougher enemies first and use your subclass abilities liberally.

Clear the area and that’s the Adventure down!
