The quarter final matchups of the IEM Katowice Major have been been confirmed following the conclusion of the New Legends Stage.

Astralis and Liquid are both in imperious form, having not dropped a game in the New Legends Stage and will be looking to continue their winning streak in the knockout stage.

They’ll be going up against NiP and ENCE respectively, who’ve battled hard to get to this point. NiP ousted Vitality in a close three setter, finally returning to the knockout stages of a Major for the first time in three years.

Meanwhile, ENCE put in a solid performance and overcame Avangar in two solid games which marked a huge milestone for the fresh-faced Finnish organisation.

FaZe found their form against Cloud 9 to book their spot and will be facing off against NaVi in what promises to be the match of the quarter finals.

To top off the quarters, both Renegades and MIBR will go toe to toe.

Renegades have proved a class act and the biggest surprise of the competition, sweeping past some of the strongest teams in the world. They’ll certainly have to bring their A-game against two-time Major winners MIBR, who are looking stronger and stronger as the tournament progresses.

Here's a complete schedule of all the matches:

All times are in CET.

  • 18:30 Liquid vs. ENCE

Friday, March 1

  • 18:30 Astralis vs. NiP
