Cloud9 has announced its latest roster reshuffle which features four new players.

Only Timothy “autimatic” Ta remains from the previous lineup, and he’ll now play alongside new members Damian “daps” Steele, Kenneth “Koosta” Suen, Tyson “TenZ” Ngo and Oscar “mixwell” Canellas Colocho.

In its official announcement post, Cloud9 offered an insight into the outgoing players’ fate. William “Rush” Wierzba will be benched, Soham “valens” Chowdhury will support the new head coach, while Maikil “Golden” Selim Rahim is on loan to NiP and will compete in the Berlin Major with them.

Having failed to qualify for the upcoming StarLadder Major Americas Minor, as well as finishing in a lackluster 9-12th place in the ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals, Cloud9’s roster swap comes as no surprise.

From this new lineup TenZ is the young rookie out to prove himself, having previously played for Bad News Bears but never for an organisation as prestigious as Cloud9.

Both daps and mixwell will reunite under the same banner for the first time since their days on OpTic Gaming together back in 2016, while koosta has found a new home in Cloud9 since his last team Ghost Gaming stepped away from the CS:GO scene a few weeks back.

As with any roster change, it'll take some time before we see if the lineup has the chemistry needed to become Major champions, but it's surely good news for Cloud9 fans who've seen their favourite team struggle ever since its Boston Major 2018 victory.

Thanks HLTV.org for the heads up.

Hi I surmise Flusha is a stand-out player and it's been a mind boggling opportunity working with him, he's done as such much for the game.
