CS:GO - BLAST pro Series Miami 2019 guide

Everything you need to know about this event.

The BLAST Pro Series heads to Miami for its second competition of 2019 and it’ll feature six of the top teams in the world squaring off for a shot at the $250,000 prize pool.

It’s set to kick off on 12-13th of April and it’ll use the same format as the previous Pro Series tournament in Sao Paulo. There’s a round robin group stage, followed by a number of knockout stages all taking place in front of a live audience. Let’s not forget the classic BLAST Stand-off, 1 vs. 1 duels too.

The trouble with tournaments is that they’re easy to watch, but very hard to follow. To help you out, we’ve put together a guide which breaks down all the essentials, from the teams competing, to the matches scheduled. We’ll update this page with results as the tournament progresses.

If you want to catch up on all the action from the last BLAST Pro Series tournament, make sure you head on over to our BLAST Pro Series Sao Paulo guide. It's got all the information you could possible need.

How to watch BLAST Pro Series Miami

BLAST Pro Series Miami runs between the 12th of April and the 13th, and it’ll be streamed over on its official Twitch channel which we’ve embedded for you below.

Teams competing

Here’s a look at all of the teams competing in the Blast Pro Series Miami.

  • Astralis
  • Cloud9
  • FaZe
  • Liquid
  • MIBR
  • Natus Vincere

It’s worth noting that Astralis were the winners of the last two BLAST Pro Series tournaments (one in 2018, the other in Sao Paulo 2019), so they’re definitely the team to beat.

Of course, they’ve also barely lost in the last few Major’s they’ve played so it’s going to be far from an easy task to beat them on the big stage.

Blast Pro Series is home to five other top teams, so there’s a chance one of them could finally topple Astralis. Liquid has done it before and NaVi has the star-power, so we’d put money on them giving the Danes a good run for their money.

However, we can’t rule out the likes of MIBR and FaZe who have the ability, but sometimes struggle to convert in the latter stages.

Cloud9’s new lineup will be an interesting watch, but one which will likely struggle against the top teams. Still, we’re intrigued to see if a re-worked roster can do some damage.
