The RAM-7 finds a nice balance between submachine gun and assault rifle, making it great for mid to short range gunfights. In this guide we’ll explain how to unlock it for use in Warzone.

The RAM-7 was first introduced many moons ago in Season 1 of Warzone, and if you owned the Battle Pass you would’ve unlocked it at Tier 31. If you’re new to the game, though, you’re probably wondering how to get hold of it.

Much like the Grau, there’s a specific in-game challenge you’ll need to complete in order to unlock the RAM-7 for use in Warzone (and MW Multiplayer). Thankfully, it’s far simpler than the Grau’s, so you should be able to get it done quite quickly.

Here’s what you need to know.

How to unlock the RAM-7 for Warzone

To unlock the RAM-7, you need to get 2 headshots using assault rifles in 25 different matches.

While you can complete this challenge in Warzone, it’s far easier to tick off if you own Modern Warfare as its multiplayer modes offer far more kill opportunities.

If you’re serious about unlocking the RAM-7, Grau, and many others, we’d highly recommend picking up Modern Warfare as it’ll make completing their challenges and earning XP so much easier.

To get started, equip an assault rifle of your choice. We’re fans of the M4A1, M13, Kilo, and the AK47 or Oden if you prefer some serious damage output. It’s then a case of outfitting them with some lovely attachments and getting stuck into a multiplayer game mode.

If there’s a Scrapyard 24/7, Dust 24/7, and anything similar, these are perfect for racking up loads of quick kills and hopefully a couple of headshots too. Remember, you only need to secure a couple of headshots per match!

Of course, these playlists aren’t always live. If this is the case, then something like Domination, Headquarters, Hardpoint, or even plain old Team Deathmatch will do the trick. Aim for the head, get those two headshots, then relax.

Rinse and repeat this process and you’ll get there eventually.

For those who don’t own Modern Warfare, a Sniper loadout with a focus on getting headshots can do the trick nicely. Even a bog standard assault rifle will also give you a decent chance of picking up a couple, just make sure you strive to land those headshots when you’re aiming in. This can be a nightmare as enemies have a much higher time to kill, but again, keep at it and you’ll unlock the RAM-7 soon enough.

That’s how to unlock the RAM-7, but make sure you check out our Best Guns page for more info on the best weapons in the game. Plus, our Best Loadouts page has you covered if you’re after the strongest combination of attachments, perks, and more!
