Hackers have already got involved with COD Mobile, from aimbots to wall hacks. Here's what happens to them.
COD: Mobile has only been out for a short time, but given its soft-launches and betas, hackers have managed to get their hands on it, offering everything from wall hacks to aimbots. Be careful though - Activision and Tencent aren’t the biggest fans of cheaters.
What happens if you hack Call of Duty: Mobile?
Ever since we can remember, cheaters have targeted the Call of Duty series. We’ve seen folks create entire lobbies in Modern Warfare 2 to boost every member to 10th prestige, as well as aimbotters ruining everyone else’s fun. It’s a leading name in a genre that attracts hackers. But what happens if you get caught?
Activision will have the same system in place with regards to cheating as they do with Black Ops 4, permanently suspending those caught for their first offence. According to the support page, they do not update you with action taken for security reasons, so you’ll just have to hope the hacker receives their comeuppance.
How do I report someone for hacking in Call of Duty: Mobile?
After a game ends, you’ll be given the option to send a report about another player. Keep in mind the player you’re looking to report, and wait until you get to a screen similar to the one below.
The results screen will be present in Multiplayer too. Tap the red button in the top right of the screen, and you’ll be taken to the reporting screen.
From here, it’s all up to Activision, and unfortunately you won’t receive any updates on your report. From the COD series’ record though, the anti-cheat system could end up being sub-par, but you might as well report enemies you catch using hacks.
