Ed will not rest until a new Wario Land is announced.

The Finn is a mobile LMG with a huge variety of barrel attachments. In this guide we’ll give you the lowdown on our preferred Warzone setup.

The Finn LMG boasts a huge variety of barrel attachments and some of them even change the fire rate significantly. This is what sets it apart from many of the other weapons in the game as it gives you plenty of options for Warzone.

Too many options, in fact. It’s difficult to know if you should be rocking a fast fire rate, or opt for a slower firing Finn. And do you need a scope, or stick with the iron sight? So many questions. Below we’ll help you out with our take on the best loadout for this LMG.

Best Finn Loadout in Warzone

With the Finn, it’s all about increasing damage range, lowering recoil, and increasing ADS speed.

Here’s our Finn loadout for Warzone:

  • Barrel - XRK LongShot Advantage
  • Muzzle - Monolithic Suppressor
  • Ammunition - 5.56 NATO 100-Round Ballistic
  • Laser - Tac Laser
  • Optic - VLK 3.0x Optic

First up, the XRK LongShot Advantage increases your damage range, lowers recoil, and keeps your rate of fire at a standard speed. We’ve not opted for a faster fire rate as it’s better for short to mid range engagements and is tricky to control in sustained fire fights.

As always. Pop the Monolithic Suppressor on your Finn to ensure you’re not appearing on the map when pulling the trigger. Plus, it’ll further increase your damage range.

The Finn has a lengthy reload time and we want to avoid that as much as possible. The 100-Round Mags should ensure you’ve got more than enough ammo to deal with multiple enemies without having to duck away for a few seconds.

As the Finn’s an LMG, it’s ADS speed is pretty slow. This is made worse with the likes of the attachments we’ve popped on too. The Tac Laser should help alleviate some of these penalties, while also increasing weapon stability.

Finally, the VLK scope is the cleanest mid range scope of the bunch, and the one which provides some hidden stat boosts. Namely, you’ll get greater recoil control and stability - decent.

Secondary, Perks, Equipment

Here’s what we like to run with it:

  • Secondary weapon: SMG if you’re running Overkill
  • Perk 1 - Cold Blooded, Double Time or EOD
  • Perk 2 - Overkill
  • Perk 3 - Amped
  • Lethal - C4
  • Tactical - Heartbeat Sensor or Stun Grenade

Take your pick out of Cold Blooded, Double Time or EOD. They all have their benefits and it’s largely down to personal preference.

The Finn’s your mid to long range shooter, but you’ll absolutely want an SMG for those close range gunfights.

If you want to get Ghost later down the line, simply select a Ghost Loadout from a future Loadout Drop, then just pick up your Finn and SMG after they’ve dropped to the ground. You’ll likely want to do this later in the game so you don’t get caught by a UAV in the final circles.

C4 is easily the most versatile lethal as it can explode vehicles in seconds and is a perfect building-breaching companion. A Heartbeat Sensor comes in handy for detecting opponents in the early game but falls off later as people nab Ghost. With this in mind, Stun Grenades are exceptionally powerful when pushing enemies as they'll render them helpless, practically unable to turn or flee. Again, though, it’s largely personal preference and you can always swap out your tactical on the fly by picking up another Loadout.

Amped is our favourite of the third perks as it gives you faster weapon swap speeds. This is something you’ll definitely want to run as the Finn’s a bulky weapon with a lengthy equip animation.
