About James Law

James can usually be found wearing dungarees.

The Bruen Mk9 LMG is super versatile and powerful at all ranges - here's the best Warzone loadout for it.

For Warzone, the Bruen Mk9 can be a solid way to get some range whilst not sacrificing mid-range ability like you would with a sniper. We've been having a good time with it in our Warzone loadouts, so here's the best attachments to stick onto it.

Best Bruen Mk9 Loadout for Warzone

The Bruen Mk9 is rivalled only by the PKM in the Light Machine Gun category. These chunky, high-ammo beasts can be beefed up so they're laser-accurate at long ranges, but you'll also struggle somewhat with their mobility. Of course, your specific loadout depends on your personal preferences, but we've kitted this Bruen out to be as accurate as possible without losing out on too much mobility - you don't want to be dead before you can even take aim.

  • Muzzle - Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel - XRK Horizon 23.0"
  • Optic - Any Reflex Sight
  • Stock - Skeleton Stock
  • Ammunition - 60 Round Mags

The main difference-maker here is the 60 Round Mags attachment. Unlocked at weapon level 48, it slightly decreases your ammo capacity but dramatically improves a whole lot of stats, from reload time to movement speed. At this point, you're rivalling the heavier assault rifles when it comes to your mobility.

Of course, if you're comfortable with this gun's iron sights, switching out the optic in favour of a Tac Laser will do wonders for your handling, but even without this you'll be devastating at range.

Here's the rest of the loadout we like to use with the Bruen Mk9:

  • Secondary - MP5 or MP7 (whichever you prefer)
  • Perk 1 - E.O.D.
  • Perk 2 - Overkill
  • Perk 3 - Amped
  • Lethal - C4
  • Tactical - Heartbeat Sensor

Of course, if you're already holding an SMG or other secondary weapon you enjoy using, feel free to switch Overkill out for Ghost, a hugely powerful perk in the late-game.

E.O.D. is another one you might enjoy using, but if you'd prefer a perk with more active benefits, try out Double Time. Similarly, if you're coming up against baddies with thermal scopes frequently, chuck in Cold Blooded.

That's all for our Bruen Mk9 guide page - hopefully you can start shredding foes at range now! While you're at it, why not check out more of our Warzone guides?
